Adam Linn

Adam Linn brings a diverse industry background to the Linn Group. He was first directly exposed to the business as a runner/phone clerk on the grain floor during his summer breaks from school in the late 80's and early 90's. After graduating from college, Adam began his career in the Marketing Department at the Chicago Board of Trade. He also held several management positions within the exchange's Market Data Services and Electronic Trading Systems departments.

His experience at the CBOT made for an easy transition to the vendor side of the business as he joined CQG, Inc. At CQG, Adam was a National Sales Executive expanding CQG's presence into new large trading, energy, and institutional clientele. Following his experience at CQG, Adam joined Trading Technologies Inc. as the National Sales Manager where he helped develop a successful business plan to expand TT's national presence. Adam joined the Linn Group in January of 2004.

At the Linn Group Adam wears many hats. His main focus is on business development and institutional sales within the Asset Management, Introducing Broker, and commercial arenas. Adam has BA in economics from Denison University, is a member of the Advisory Board for the Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MSFE) degree at Kent State University, and is an avid golfer/hacker in his free time. Adam, his wife, and two children reside in Hinsdale, IL.
