Lincoln S. Ellis

Lincoln S. Ellis is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of LG Investment Advisors.

Previously, Lincoln was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley & Co., the institutional business of Morgan Stanley Inc. He began his career at Morgan nearly a decade ago graduating #3 in his class of over 2500 colleagues. His investment performance earned him one of 25 places in the institutional private client group at MS & Co. in the year 2000. His group managed over $1 billion USD in client assets.

Lincoln earned a BA from Valparaiso University and an MA from The Graduate Faculty – New School for Social Research. Deeply committed to the communities in which he has lived, Lincoln has served as a founding member of the Metropolitan Opera’s Young Associates; he is currently President of the Auxiliary Chapter at Lyric Opera of Chicago; he sits on the Advisory board of CompassionWorx; he is a Board member of Columbia University’s Columbia International Affairs Online, a database of international politics and economics he founded and created with then Editor-in-Chief, Kate Wittenberg.
