Java Installation Guide

We suggest you print this Java Installation Guide BEFORE beginning the install.

If after running the QT Computer Check, a prompt appears that says, "Java Not Detected," click on the link to the right to go to www.java.com.

You will be taken to the website below. Click on the "Begin Free Java Download" button circled in blue.

Next, you will be prompted by Internet Explorer - Security Warning, asking whether you would like to download/install Java. Click the "Install" button.

The "Downloading Java Installer" progress bar will appear. Wait until it is finished.

Next, you will be prompted by Java Platform SE Installer, asking if you want to run the installation. Click the "Run" Button.

This is where the installation of Java actually begins. Please click the "Accept" button in the lower right hand corner.

UNCHECK the Yahoo Toolbar installer in the upper left corner. Please click the "Next" button in lower right to continue.

You will encounter yet another install Progress Bar. Please be patient while it installs.

Once installation is complete, you will be congratulated on a successful install.
